In this workshop we will study Fashion Jewelry as a genre. Starting from research, inspiration and “mood boards”, you will then develop sketches and  three-dimensional models to aid in the creation of pieces that compliment apparel.

Exploring the body as a form of display will provide a back-drop for innovative sculptural forms and silhouettes. Through presentations and demonstrations students will acquire basic metal fabrication skills as well as refining the use of alternative materials in jewelry to create fabulously bold and beautiful runway pieces!
