Earring WorkshopThis 3 hour workshop will take you through the world of hoop earrings.  The history of styles is vast and rich and a presentation of images and several forming demonstrations will be the inspiration for your own designs.  You will begin by learning how to forge thin copper wire to create a practice model, and then move on to making a finished, matching pair of sterling silver earrings.  This course will cover some basic jewelry making techniques including measuring and cutting wire, using pliers to create the earring hooks, and bending and forging wire in a graceful and intentional way to create simple but beautiful earrings.

Working with wire will allow you to discover just how versatile this material can be.  It is fun, fast, and informative.  And best of all, you don’t need any prior experience.  This class is great for everyone who loves jewelry.

Tools and materials included.
