Class Description

This jewelry specific course is for those looking for a more engaged conversation about their work in an interactive independent session with an instructor. Bring special problems to class and find new ways to design solutions. This directed study will help you develop your ideas further while solving difficulties in the process. Technical assistance in addition to hands-on demonstrations will be given.

This course is fabrication based, meaning metalsmithing processes only. The following techniques will not be covered: wax working, enameling, and advanced gemstone setting.

Open to students who have taken jewelry making courses for more than one year, and intermediate to advance level students.

This is a self directed jewelry projects course. Please bring your current work, regular materials/tools/supplies, and your questions or considerations to the first class.

Class size 4 – 12 students. Masks are optional, not required.
