Come prepared with a concept of how you’d like to cuff yourself and we will guide you through the day long idea-to-realization process.
This workshop is about making a cuff bracelet as a fashion or classic take on the centuries old jewelry style that can be visually simple but technically interesting.
This class will cover basic sawing, piercing, soldering, and a bit of forming to shape the final piece. Possible finishing options such as patina oxidation will be taught. We will also review traditional cuffs and contemporary styles to serve as an inspiration for your designs.
Basic jewelry skills are always helpful, but not necessary.
