Luci Jockel
Luci Jockel is an educator, curator and artist who explores the agency of jewelry as curative devices that may instill empathy and interconnectivity with nonhuman beings. Luci received her MFA from Rhode Island School of Design in Jewelry and Metalsmithing, 2016. She was the recipient of the American Craft Council Emerging Voices Award in 2019 and has exhibited her work both nationally and internationally. Luci maintains a studio practice in Baltimore, MD, USA and is an active member of JV Collective, a group of seven art jewelers. She is the Metals + Jewelry Lecturer and Area Coordinator at Towson University. Her work is in the collections of the RISD Museum, Galerie Marzee and ArtYard and is represented by Gallery Loupe in Montclair, NJ, USA.
