Odette Channell is a designer and freelance jeweler based in East Harlem. After graduating from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Jewelry Design and Metalsmithing, she worked as a studio technician at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and later spent 4 years honing her technique as a bench jeweler for Alex Å epkus. Her jewelry and wearable sculpture have been featured in various publications, including Wild Magazine. Odette began assisting at Brooklyn Metal Works in 2014, and currently teaches at Brooklyn Metal Works and Fitzgerald Jewelry. She is a member of the New York City Jewelry Week team and is a liaison for the NYCJW One For the Future program.
